| vacation charter PRIVATE DAY CHARTERS 6 hours of sailing and site-seeing  MAINE ONLY Civil Twilight is available for day-long charters. Only you and your family or friends will be aboard, along with crew. This would be a great way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or engagement (a proposal in a quiet anchorage, sipping champagne is VERY romantic). Or just get together with a group of friends, or perhaps an outing for a small group of your employees. With no destination in mind, we would follow the wind, and perhaps see as many as 5 or 6 lighthouses, not to mention the typically seen wildlife...porpoises, seals, osprey, and if you're lucky, a whale or two. We'll drop the anchor in a quiet cove, where we can grill up some burgers and hot dogs for lunch. We'll raise the sails once more, and make our way back to the marina for a 4pm arrival. Ample time will be provided for anyone who would like a turn at the helm. And Captain Al is always eager to answer any sailing questions you might have. You are invited to participate in sailing the boat, or just sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery. The boat leaves the dock about 10AM and returns about 4PM. | |
